I can't pint-point what caused it, but it was before upgrading to windows 20H2, and still persists.
MALWAREBYTE LOGIN UPGRADE
This has happened once when I newly bought this computer but after an upgrade using acer drivers, everything was ok until recently. Issue begins.ĭoes not happen when lid closed and opened / after waking from sleep. (using shutdown -h or for me, using wox / launchy / MS powertools run. When screen is between flickering/glitching out, the cursor appears fuzzy Trigger:Īfter boot, (regardless of uptime), hibernate the computer. Sometimes this doesnt matter since everything is black. This depends on what is under the cursor. Problem:Īfter waking up from Hibernation, when I move the cursor, the screen flickers, causes a Black Bar across the screen or glitches. I have determined it's an Intel Graphics issue from my own test that I'll elaborate below, so I'm posting here and not at r/NVIDIA or something. I know little to nothing about viruses and trojan horses and terrified about it being ransomware or having any personal data compromised. I later also installed malwarebytes and ran a scan and got the following results: Each of the five files that were the malware themselves or were infected were quarantined by windows defender but I am still terrified that the trojan horse may still be lurking. It appears that whatever the malware was doing it seemed to be targeting files in the appdata folders. exe file and once I clicked on it windows defender started freaking out and listed the following: * Stage 1: Temp file cleanup: Streamline user profile cleanup codĮarlier today I was the target of an attack by what appears to be a trojan horse after I downloaded an installer via qbittorent for a software program that makes one of my 35mm photo slide scanners run on newer OSes. Once BleachBit supports cookie whitelisting, we will switch over to it exclusively and retire CCleaner from Tron Reason 2) It doesn't support excluding certain cookie domains from wiping (the main reason). Reason 1) It performs the same function as CCleaner. This is despite the fact that I prefer BleachBit over CCleaner. You can see the list of cookies Tron preserves in this file. This is NOT generally recommended as Tron now automatically preserves the most common login cookies (,, , etc) and wiping other tracking cookies is still good for user privacy and security. + Add switch SKIP_COOKIE_CLEANUP ( -scc) to have Tron preserve ALL browser cookies. + Add switch REMOVE_MALWAREBYTES ( -rmb) to have Tron automatically uninstall Malwarebytes at the end of the run

MALWAREBYTE LOGIN MANUAL
Prep > Tempclean > De-bloat > Disinfect > Repair > Patch > Optimize > Wrap-up | Manual tools It is built with heavy reliance on community input and updated regularly. Tron is a script that "fights for the User." Think of it as a tech on a thumb drive that automates ~87% of the tedious work in cleaning a Windows system, with some things left to the discretion of the tech.
